Trust your instinct. Trust yourself.

When you don’t know an answer, DO NOT ANSWER AT ALL.

You are in front of a decision, and since you are thinking about it, this choice is already costing you time and efforts, is already making you having a bad moment.
This is true and I tell you why.
When we call something a “decision”, it is because both the paths in front of us seem positive. Both our channels have a good percentage of making us happier in the future, of bringing a great outcome.
So we are afraid of loosing something in the way. Of missing on opportunities that could have come in handy.
Therefore, you should act seemingly to this.

Firstly, think carefully of by what time you need to come to a conclusion.
This is uttermost important, as it is going to modify your thinking behaviour.

By “deadline” for making up your mind, I mean the latter moment in which the action of “not having chosen yet” will cost you more than having chosen the wrong answer.

For instance: I am supposed to attend an appointment for another agency I would love to collaborate with, in three days time.
Shamefully, in the same morning, I should be carrying out an important job task in my office, and this one related to where I am working at the moment, while the first one can be considered an extra activity I am on.

So, how to get the right answer, without regretting it later?
This is just an example, but you can turn it into anything you want.

You need to solve the problem now. In your mind. You must plan your ideas about the concern, otherwise this will hurt you and bring you anxiousness.

So, point out positive and negative things about each option.
Make a proper list (even mentally, not written) with pros and cons of choosing one rather than the other.

It is most important that you bear in mind to give time out to yourself.
If this “deciding” thing is already getting on your nerves, just do not stress out and distract your mind with anything else.

It is like recovering from a physical injury: do not mess up with your wound too much, leave it resting for a period.
Our mind, when sleeping or “taking a break”, is letting every information kept inside, moving naturally to the place it should be. Every useless emotion (as stress, anxiety, worry) is sent away. The brain, in order to attend its functions maximizing the results and minimizing the effort, is in need of clearing any extra data.
And by doing that, the chances of seeing the situation in front of view under a different perspective is way higher.

So give your brain a rest. By distracting it.
Obviously, this is not trying to escape the problem. On the contrary, it is facing in, getting ready to overcome it in the least time possible.

When you might know the answer, even if still not completely sure, just give it a go and do not regret what you do.

Once you have chosen, it is fundamental that you trust yourself. Be proud of what you have chosen since you have a brain that works, reasons, and so deserves more credit.

If the moment after you have decided, and the other possibility is fading away, you suddenly think you were wrong, well now forget this feeling and try and make the best out of the decision you made.

Maybe, sometimes, it could happen that you had the wrong perception, but this is about exploiting the opportunities we have in the best way ever. It is about having a good time with our present no matter how it is in front of us. It is for our good.

If you want to be happy, stick with this phrase: any situation I have in front of me, I will try to bring positivity, to get the nicest outcome I can.

So, when you decide, stick with your decision and show yourself it was a good try!

I decided to not go to the appointment. Maybe I was wrong, I should have accepted that opportunity that comes once a year, instead of a job that carries on daily. But, after I decided, I had the best working day ever! I completed the task I was assigned, I used my spare time to update my blog, I did a lot of activities. I got the best the situation could offer!
If I had gone to the appointment, I would have enjoyed it anyway: I would have told myself that job could wait, as I deserved time to pursuit my inspiration.

In conclusion, any answer you choose it will be the best one.

Let go of your worries! Your brain is better than what you think.
